Overnight we had very shifty winds as we're on the edge of two weather systems. The wind was (and still is)shifting as much as 40 degrees every few minutes. At present, we can't sail a compass course because of the shifts. We're still on starbord tack weaving back and forth sailing as deep into the apparent wind as conditions allow. We're currently 41nm notheast of the direct route. That's OK if yesterdays forecast is correct, We're considering tacking, but we're a bit concerned that we'll end up sailing into the middle of the high pressue and come to a near stop. We'll make that decision based on the new forecast that comes down as this post gets uploaded to the blog.
We had two flying fish land on the boat last night. That's all for now...
