Our planned route

Here’s a picture of our planned route. As you can see, we’ll be a pretty good distance from land for most of our trip. The straight-line distance between VIP Yachts in St. Thomas and Sail Harbor in Savannah is 1202 nautical miles. (That’s just over 1380 statute miles.) We could easily end up having to sail a good bit further than that depending on wind and sea conditions.

Life in St. Thomas

Most of the crew has assembled in St. Thomas. Scott flys down tomorrow (Thursday). We're staying at Sapphire Beach Resort for a few days while we provision and fix a few minor things on the boat. Here's the view from our hotel room...
